Alternative text: I've been putting lots of scary pix of me lately and thought to share some of my favs from my shoot with @8x10proofs. I ain't gonna lie it's been tough but I can't lose sight of all I have walked through and that like everything I will overcome this obstacle too. It's challenging and I can see what the years have done to my health. Underneath the fight I'm still me. I have lots to smile about and no matter what I'm thankful for every single day because I'm still able to love and be loved. Which I feel is one of life's greatest purpose. I have been able to still do so much even if it took 10 times more of my energy maybe now 100 times my energy. I could be depressed and trust me I know those deep valleys been there done that and only know how much more harder it is to heal when your stuck there. So I still cry it out and give my burden to God literally surrendering the weight of it all and I move forward. Again thank you for every message written I know I haven't replied to them all yet but your support means so much and truly warms my heart. Every word & prayer received I know is only healing for my soul. The soul that has carried this sick body for now 12 years. I will stay optimistic only believing in the best because I know I'm God's daughter and he got me. ❤️ #maribelskidneystory #warriorlife_style
Alternative text: Sad to say that my transplant coordinator just called and I have to be temporarily on hold status (again) on the #transplantlist because of needing oxygen support after last hospitalization. It's important that my lung capacity can withstand being on a ventilator during surgery. Thankfully my pulmonary doctor thinks this is only temporary as I'm healing much slower however my lungs are clear and look good on scans. I've been able to get my lung oxygen levels back and all week we've done extra dialysis to remove excess fluid. Thank you for those who already signed the online questionnaire. I was so blessed to hear 7 people filled it out that first day I went into #kidneyhustle mode but trust me it won't stop. I know what needs to be done and have been here before and know the steps to recover. I'm not sure how they'll proceed but I'm working hard so I can be ready for transplant and active again. Thank you again for those earth angels wanting to give me the #giftoflife. I appreciate every message written, sharing my story and your continued love & support. Please keep those prayers coming as I keep strengthening myself one day at a time and one step at a time. ???? #maribelskidneystory #kidneywarrior

Alternative text: This is my current situation at the moment I had to come home to #oxygensupport. When I'm just sitting or laying my oxygen drops. I also came home with a walker, wheelchair and back brace. So it's difficult to get active when I have a hard time walking and my hubby even is starting to carry me up the stairs because it's been so difficult to pull myself with each step. I am happy this isn't active #valleyfever but know this is the result of fighting it and with my lungs and heart being effected now from my long-term dialysis it's quite a struggle. However #onestepatatime is all I can do and take it #onedayatatime. I will continue my physical therapy and learn to deal with #chronicpain and #athritis in my bones. Alternative text: Hoping this is the last test out of the many I've done in the past couple days. They extracted my white blood cells and it helps light up any type of bone infection in a body scan they will do tomorrow. So far I've been treated for an infection in my gallbladder. Drained 1 liter of extra fluid from my tummy as I started to have #ascites (accumulation of fluid in tummy) again which they'll test as well and having oxygen support as I've been running low again. I'm praying this can help address many of the symptoms I've been having & most of all rule out #valleyfever. Thank you for all the covered prayers.
